Annual Parochial Church Meeting 2021

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) will be held on Sunday 23rd May at 10.15am in the church and will be streamed to Facebook Live (www.facebook.com/saintpeterss8).

This meeting is a significant event in the life of the church as it is an opportunity for everyone to see and hear about the decisions made and actions taken by the Parochial Church Council (PCC) over the year 2020. Everyone also has the opportunity to ask questions and challenge any of those decisions.

Service Sheet

Download the service sheet for our Pentecost service and APCM to follow along at home.

Electoral Roll

As part of the preparation for this meeting we will be reviewing our electoral roll. An electoral roll is a list of people who want to be involved in decision making of Saint Peter’s Church. Being on the roll gives you voting rights at the APCM and the ability to be nominated onto the PCC. To be on the electoral roll you must be baptised and 16 years old or older and either resident in the parish or habitually worship at Saint Peter’s for the last six months. If you would like to be added to our electoral roll please download, fill in and submit the form below before the PCC.

Parochial Church Council (PCC)

At the meeting we will also be electing new representatives from the electoral roll to the PCC. This year there are four spaces available. Please be praying and seeking God’s guidance as to who you might nominate to serve our church for the next three years. You can nominate someone by downloading the form below, filling it in and submitting in time for the APCM.

Churchwardens

We will also be electing two churchwardens to serve as support for the clergy and congregation and to ensure good practice is followed in all things lawful within our church. You can nominate someone by downloading the form below, filling it in and submitting before the APCM.
